Welcome!

For the past decade,

...Diagnostic Imaging at Baywalk has been more than a place for imaging tests. We are a caring resource to help you toward a healthier future. We provide advanced diagnostic imaging tests and a staff of board-certified radiologists and licensed technologists who truly care about your well-being.

Whether you require routine test or a more comprehensive procedure, our imaging facility will ensure that you receive the personalized care you deserve.

We offer fast, convenient patient scheduling and in many cases the exam can be completed the same day it's ordered. We also offer appointments that work with your schedule. We understand you are concerned about your health and do our best to diagnose you quickly and efficiently. In most cases we can provide results within 24 hours.

Our staff understands the best way to prevent disease is through early detection, and we are committed to making sure you get the treatment you need, when you need it.

Diagnostic Imaging at Baywalk features the new cutting edge technology:

SafeCT

We are able to greatly reduce the radiation dose to patients while maintaining the highest resolution. With SafeCT®, patients are exposed to 50% to 70% less radiation than from most other CT scanners. This is a huge benefit to the patient.

We participate in Image Wisely

...a campaign that encourages smart medical imaging and pledge to eliminate unnecessary scans and lower radiation doses by using state of the art equipment.

Diagnostic Imaging at Baywalk offers these advanced diagnostic procedures:

High Field MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging)

MRI exams are an advanced way of looking inside a patient's body through radio waves and a magnetic field to show the soft tissue structures and organs. An MRI is also used to diagnose problems of the brain and spine, for detecting tumors, infection and conditions that affect blood flow.

16 Slice CT Scan (Computed Tomography)

This scanning process is used to diagnose a wide variety of medical conditions. The CT scan takes a circular X-ray and, combined with computer technology, produces detailed cross sections of internal organs. Sometimes an IV contrast will be injected to enhance the quality of the image and exam.

PET/CT

PET/CT scans combine two scanners into one. PET (Positron Emission Tomography), which shows metabolism and the function of cells, and the CT (Computed Tomography), which shows detailed anatomy. This results in highly defined, 3-D images inside the human body in one medical imaging system. This provides important information about a patient's condition, and allows doctors to make the best choices about treatment of conditions such as cancer and heart disease.

Self Pay

We have Self Pay Options and Time of Service discounts.

We do our best to accommodate all patients to ensure they receive the necessary tests to assist your doctor in your diagnosis. If you have concerns about your co-pay or have no insurance, call our office prior to your exam and our staff will be happy to discuss payment options with you.

In addition to our professional, caring approach, we may be able to make a difference financially. Our costs to patients who pay “out of pocket” may, in many cases, be as much as 50% less than traditional hospital charges.
